My First Blog Post

I originally was doing this blog to try to encourage other people to get active and find new strengths in themselves as well as hold myself accountable. However, with the recent chaos that has been going in with the coronavirus that has been impacting people across the globe I am trying to change my focus slightly.

As those who are being impacted heavily are the elderly people and my close contact with my grandparents on a daily basis, I am making the choice to not be going to public gym, as they are typically well populated. Additionally, with the ever changing weather that can not make up its mind, and trying to ensure I do not catch a cold.

I have weights at hone to use and the workout program Insanity to use to keep my body moving and active. I do not own a treadmill do I can not specifically focus on running like I had planned on at this moment. Therefore I will focus on my journey of using the workout program Insanity to keep myself active and fit.

I have owned Insanity for over a year and I just have not had the time to focus whole heartedly on it, and when I did use the program I only used it for about 2-3 weeks when training for a half marathon. I have never completed the program, so this will be a new experience for me that I haven’t had and I may encourage someone to try this program.
